In Canada

Well Well...

Its been forever and a day since I last updated.  and it sure hasn't been from a lack of news.  More of me just being really really lazy. But ya I got home safely to Canada with relatively no delays.  And much to my dismay there is no snow on the ground.  We lost it all last week!  Which makes me sad cause that means no hockey for me this break!!  So yesterday I went through all my video's from Highschool and many I did some pretty crazy and stupid stuff!!  I would post some, but I wouldn't want to give you guys any idea's since you surrounded with boredom.  K I'll give you one thing we did, but if you do it I expect picture.  So ya my brother and I would go to the top of a hill on the road with office chairs (the ones with rollers) and race down I dont know if we ever made it down safely.  One time I thought that I was going to make it and I just nailed the curb and flipped off the chair it was hilarious!!  Anyways, if you're reading this and it seems like a good idea IT'S NOT!! so what Im trying to say is dont do it, but if you do send me a pic.

Anyways, its great to be home and with family, and I'm excited to see my Aunts and Uncle's too.  But I do miss all of you back in Germany or wherever else in the world you are now.  I hope you are all Having a merry Christmas and enjoying the time off!!  Its been an amazing year with all the numerous blessings that God had given me.   Certainly more than I deserve!!  So don't forget to remember what Christmas is all about!! Merry Christmas and Happy new year!!

Thanks

Well I guess it's time to look back and reflect on what this year contained for me.  It's been a great year, my life has totally changed.  I've learned so much this year since landing almost a year ago at BFA.  Little did I know that the community that God called me to would in time mean so much to me.

So to the guys at Maug THANK YOU!!!  thank you for being patient with me, thank you for accepting me, and most of all thank you for teaching me all you did.  I'm sure there were times you must have thought that I was from another planet, and I guess to some extent I was... But you let me make mistake's and learn.  I'm sure there were times when you didn't think I was being fair, but you guys took it with class and integrity.  I have learned alot from all of you guys, and I can seriously say that I love all of you!!  My only regret is that I didn't get to know some of you better!!  But that's why we have next year!!

To the senior's at Maug.  You guys were an awesome class!!  You were good leaders and examples to the others.  You all mean so much to me and you'll be missed next year.  Keep me updated on what you're doing!!!  to the rest of the Sr. as BFA go! and be nothing less than you!! Learn, make mistakes, struggle with things, but most importantly learn from life.  You have an excuse to make mistake's, but you don't have an excuse if you don't learn from them.  Don't forget to praise Him in the storms, because that's when life actually starts.

To everyone else at BFA, I'm excited to see you guys next year!  It was a great year getting to know you all!  You all have a real, true, and transparent depth to what life really is.  You have changed my life and inspired me!  I see the world alot differently now, and that has given me a true sense of purpose.  Life's a wild ride if you can hold on!!! So please pray for me as I raise money to come back, and get ready for an even better year!  I'm out...

Good times

So last week was really really busy here at the dorm, but that being said it was a pretty sweet week.  The big 50th birthday of BFA was fun, and being in the talent show was even more fun.  I'm glad we didn't bomb on stage, so everyone that laughed at us thanks.  Other than that the weather has been pretty sweet and I've just been enjoying everyday!  I haven't done anything really crazy in a while and I just have the urge to do so, so maybe next update I'll have something crazy to tell you!  In the mean time I'm out!

Lack of Creativity

So ya I know thats its time for an update and I really should.  However, I have been running low on creativity, so not it's that I haven't done stuff or Im too lazy, but more because I can't think of a entertaining way to say it.  but alot has happened since last update... I went to the olympics, then the Geneva autoshow, back home to Ottawa for 4 days, went to Triberg, Liechtenstein, and a whole bunch of other cool places on my two week break.  So I've done really cool things and had a ton of fun, but it sounds kinda of boring the way I wrote.  So I think Im going to write a story about it then put it up on here, and of course some pic too.  So ya Maugie Men come back soon or Im going to be bored, I miss you all...

Acutally one more thing.  So I've been doing alot of inline skating lately.  Mainly downhill... ya its pretty sick... as best as I can tell we get going about 60 Km/h it's so tight.  Some of my friends came to visit and we practiced draging behing each other, and you go so so fast.  So Aaron when you get back were going to have to go down at the same time this time, no helmets no pads just high speeds.  We'll catch it on tape this time too.  anyways that about it.  Thats it I'm done! See you boys in a couple of days

Well this week was exciting I got to go to the mulhouse car museum, and see a ton of sweet rides from the 1900's to the 50's.  There were even some from the early 90's as well and that was very exciting.  You may drool at the car in the picture above if you would like I know I did when I took the picture.  The other highlights of my week were making a movie with Jake and Stefan and of course watching the OLYMPICS!!!!  Of course watching them won't compare to going there tomorrow to watch team Canada dominate in hockey!!  Well that's it I'm out.
